Our project partners crees are now running the Real Forest Experience every month. Students from Salvación
recently took part in November's instalment, with lots more to learn
about protecting the rainforests in Peru's Manu Region.
Following on from the success of their pilot project,
students joined Eduardo and the MLC Education team for this month’s instalment
of the Real Forest Experience, getting hands on training including learning
about botany and mammal biodiversity. There was also time for some discussion
and a game of chess.
Giving students the opportunity to experience the reality of
being a tour guide, this initiative helps train young people to become Manu’s
guides of the future and rainforest ambassadors – ensuring the Peruvian Amazon
is preserved for future generations.
Take a look at their fantastic day of learning.
