Introducing our six fabulous fundraisers who are running the Brighton Marathon on 10th April 2011 in aid of Quest 4 Change...
Nikki Harman
Raising money to sponsor children to attend the Quest School in Villa Maria, Peru, Nikki is working hard on her both her training and her fundraising effort, including organising a 'Come Dine With Me' evening, and ever-popular cake sale at her daughter's school.
5 year old Ariana has been abandoned by her parents and denied stability at home - without the support of Quest 4 Change fundraisers like Nikki, she would also have been denied the education that can provide her with a brighter future. Ariana is thriving at school, she loves to read and Quest4Change has been discovered to be quite the artist! To provide full sponsorship of a child through a year of schooling it costs just £180 to cover fees, books, uniforms and more.

Kevin Love
Kevin is running to raise money for secondary school sponsorship of children in Malawi through Joshua Orphan & Community Care - in his own words "children in Malawi have to pay for their secondary education...but even at the equivalent of only £10 a term, orphans and other vulnerable children are unable to afford to attend." Just £54 per year will cover books, uniform and fees for one child. 72 million children of school-going age were out of school

Charlene Marriott
Charlene is raising money to help support Quest 4 Change's Villa Maria Project. There are a lot of changes afoot in Villa Maria this year, in particular the expansion of the school there. With the addition of four classrooms, the Quest school will now be able to offer a full primary education to its pupils, and they are hoping to add a computer suite, which wil provide the pupils with the skills necessary for so many jobs in today's Peru.
Charlene has been working really hard on her training and she's feeling really good about the race.

Katy Lee
Katy is raising money to help the projects supported by Quest 4 Change in Africa and South America. One of these projects is the Tanzania Community Development Project, which works with the Livingstone Tanzania Trust to develop rural educational infrastructure, including agricultural education, in the Manyara region of Tanzania. Dan Jewitt
Dan is raising money to help the projects supported by Quest 4 Change in Africa and South America. One of these projects is the Manu Conservation Project, which works with the CREES Foundation to reduce the destruction of the Peruvian Amazon by alleviating poverty in local communities by bringing economic, social and environmental harmony to the Manu region.
Matt Parkinson
Matt is raising money to help the projects supported by Quest 4 Change in Africa and South America. One of these projects is the Casa Lar Home for Mentally and Physically Disabled Boys in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, which supports 17 young men to live healthy, fulfilling and involved lives. Casa Lar provides not only the basic necessities of food, medicines and transport, but also organises day and weekend trips to places such as the beach and mountains. Donate to his efforts here.
Quest4Change is a small charity working with project partners in some of the poorest areas, helping those who need it most. Over the last 13 years our supporters have raised over £1.5million, 100% of which has gone to the grassroots projects we work with. You can help us build on this.
