First volunteers of 2011 flying out soon

The first of 2011's Quest4Change volunteers are flying out this January, and everyone at the projects is looking forward to welcoming them.

On the 5th we bid a 'Hasta Luego' to the team travelling flying out to work on the Villa Maria Children's Project in Peru. The team will be doing expending all their energy on making this summer holiday for the children in the shanty town the best one possible - with trips to the swimming pool, putting on dance shows, generally clowning around - as well as some respite from the hundreds of children with a spot of construction and house maintenance.

The 7th January sees us wish 'safari njema' to the team flying out to Wa'angwaray in Tanzania, where they will be constructing new school facilities, working on the school farm, painting, informal teaching. Education is a vital part of bettering lives for children of families struggling with poverty. This January's volunteers will be contributing to the Livingstone Tanzania Trust's ongoing work to improve schools in this part of Africa.

Good luck to both teams, and thank you, you are doing great work.
