Sore legs and orange t-shirts

Two had working Questies, Sarah and Heather embarked upon a mammoth fundraising walk for our project partners Joshua Orphan and Community Care yesterday.
They set off in a merry group of three, joined by Tom Faith for what turned out to be a 23mile trek. They started from a pub in Eastbourne at 8.50 and walked the 8 1/2 miles to Alfriston cross country, along the way they spotted numerous Lycra clad comedy hat wearing people which made them feel slightly less conspicuous in their bright orange Joshua shirts.
Having completed the first section of the walk swiftly the refuelled with sausage rolls before heading in the direction of the stunning Cuckmere Haven Seven Sister's country park. The views were amazing and they stopped of briefly at the top of the first sister to eat their rolls and write things in chalk.
They then tackled the final leg of the walk, covering what felt like at least 20 sisters, (I'm not sure where the 7 came from!)
At the official end they ignored Eddie Izzard (who watched them take the above photo with a some confusion) and focused on their life saving mini rolls, before deciding that they would take on a further 3mile walk back to the car which was parked in central Eastbourne. Only when they hit paved road did they realise how much pain they were in, however an evening of cider and roast dinners made the walk worth all the pain and the danger!
