This summers team of construction volunteers headed out to the shanty town of Villa Maria, Peru last weekend and have just sent us there first photo's.
We can see Sam O'Kane (hiding in the background, right), who along with his Dad Pat raised over £1,000 to help build houses in Villa Maria by running the Hasewater Half Marathon in March. He is now working hard building the new homes his fundraising has made possible
And Joanna Light (eagerly sawing to the right) who raise funds also by running a half marathon and with support from her local Rotary Club.
Our thanks goes out to all the volunteers and their supporters for making these new homes possible - check back soon for the latest news.
Would you like to volunteer in Villa Maria, or just find out more about this project - check out the project page on the Quest4Change website.
To the right, current volunteers, Rebekah, Jasmine and Charlotte all hard at work building and painting new homes.
