Thanks to your support a new income generation scheme has been completed in Tanzania.
Babati town is growing and the demand for food is increasing, last year it was becoming increasingly hard for locals to buy eggs. Julian from LTT decided to address this prolem and generate income for the Quest4Change supported school at the same time. The plan was to expanding the chicken housing capacity from 10 to 200 chickens, generating money for the school whilst increasing it’s sustainability.
With this in mind, In 2009 Andy Deaville raised over £1,000 for the Chicken coop project by spending an entire week dressed as a Chicken! He can be seen on YouTube doing some eggcellent fundraising.
