Volunteers travelling through South America spent a day hammering, nailing and sawing to help construct a new home for one of the poorest families in this shanty town in Peru.
This housing project was launched in memory of a former volunteer, Katie Ashbridge and has already resulted in 12 families moving from poorly made shacks into new homes.
