Ex Questies in Action

People come away from their time as a volunteer with Quest inspired and enthused from the experience and we love to shout about what our ex-vols are getting up to.

In September Lucy Lapere will be cycling from London to Paris, inspired by her experience as a Quest leader in Mozambique in 2007 Lucy hopes to raise £1,250 for Quest4Change. Lucy and her team helped build a school in Mozambique, making a huge difference to the local community by giving hundreds of children the opportunity attend school. Fancy joining her? Then get in touch with Charlotte at Skyline Events for more info charlottecolman@skylineevents.co.uk

Yosuke Matsumiya will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Village Education Project Kilimanjaro in Tanzania this August. He worked as a Quest volunteers with VEPK in his Gap Year and says "We have chosen to raise money for VEPK because it is a charity which does fantastic work local to the area where we will be staying; we will be able to see directly where the money that we raise is being used, and some of us will be able to do voluntary work for VEPK after the climb." We wish him and his team loads of luck with the climb. Find out more.

What are you up to? Writing the dissertation of a lifetime? Working in rural Africa? Training to be a lawyer? Training for the Marathon? Get in touch, let us know, and if we can help you out we will.
