Emanoel de Souza lives by the Sao Francisco river in Brazil. The river water keeps his rice fields fertile and the resident crocodiles feed his family. Profits from his harvest alone bought him a motorbike. People elsewhere are not so lucky; just a few kilometres away from the river, crops are consistently lost due to lack of water. Water is supplied to residents by lorry.
