Innovative Education in Kenya

Give a child an education and you give them the tools they need to shape their own future, encouraging them to grown, expanding their horizons and encouraging their potential for change. Over the years teachers have brought education to millions of young people and with technological advances here in the UK education is interactive and more exciting then ever before. But in rural Kenya teachers working with Nomadic communities are proving that you don't need technology to be innovative, quite the opposite in fact as Goat droppings, mobile classrooms and wild fruits are being used as teaching aides. Check out the bbc website for their report.

Interested in helping communities in Kenya? Why not volunteer on our water relief project.
Interested in working with Kids? Why not volunteer in the shanty town of Villa Maria and make a difference in the lives of some of the poorest children in South America.
