Little chefs in action

Director of Quest Overseas (who run Gap and Summer trips to the projects we support) Jon Cassidy, is currently visiting all our projects in South America. It is of utmost importance to us that we understand how our projects work overseas and maintain our excellent relationships. It means that we can constantly re-evaluate how volunteering can positively affect the communities we work with as well as the volunteers that we send out.
Jon's first stop was to check in with the children in Villa Maria. Quest have been working in the shanty town in Peru since 1998 and our continued support along with La Vida has lead to the Quest Overseas school which takes in children who otherwise might be turned away. Pictured above the kids have been busy learning to cook, love the 'mini chef' aprons!
