Last night the Quest team headed out of Brighton to Lewes, land of bonfires, bangers and local beer Harveys, for the pub quiz to end all pub quizzes. After a devastating first half, during which we discovered we knew very little about phobia's, French kings and Cornish Castles but that our collective talent lies in film anagrams, we drowned our sorrows in the purchasing of raffle tickets, and much to the delight of us all Andy left with a bottle of Whiskey.
The second half allowed our light to flicker slightly as we proved that our knowledge of pop stars, populations and places was in some way useful. We scraped in a respectable second last, leaving quickly by the back door we are pleased to announce that the night, hosted by Lucy Lapere and Chris Williams raised an impressive £127 which will be split equally between the Quest Charitable Trust and the Environmental Justice Foundation.
Lucy worked with Quest4Change building a school in Mozambique last year, her first hand experience of our work has inspired her to continue supporting the Charity. Lucy is cycling from London to Paris for Quest4Change this September read more about her epic journey here.
