Kenya team finish 2nd Dam

The Kenya team of volunteers have now completed two sand dams from start to finish and have extended another one. Their hard work will really pay off at this very difficult time for the Munathi and surrounding communities as the are has not had any rainfall in two years.
The Picture below shows volunteers working with the Munathi community on the first dam.
Why build a Sand Dam? A dam built by Quest4Change with our partners Excellent Development in 2007 is still providing clean, safe drinking water for local communities, even though their has been no fresh rainfall in two years. This is hard, grassroots development that makes a live changing difference to the communities we work with.
